It’s said that there are 3 ways that you can rediscover yourself.
Through your body, through your relationships, and through your genius.

When we are aware of what the physical body is communicating to us, we have the ability to be open to a new level of energy. Each of us has a body with its own unique road map, by noticing what the body is asking for we are able to nourish ourselves at a higher level. Our body has an intelligence that is consciously felt as the experience of being alive, but sometimes we lack a strong sense of what we’re feeling or even if we feel anything at all.

We may not know the meaning of life completely, but I’m pretty sure we’re not here to have a bad time. We can choose to rediscover ourselves with a vision for a fresh appreciation for our home and our relationships. How can we regain an appreciation for the simple things in life that we so often take for granted? Can we trade a shopping list of problems for a much better one: how much love can we give and receive?

The author Gay Hendricks urges us,

Love as much as you can from wherever you are

Our greatest calling is to take a leap into our genius. Simply put, this allows you to expand and express a way of being that is uniquely suited to you. You do not have to be super skilled to take it, there is just a requirement to call upon the Divine for inspiration. It takes a willingness to utilise your gifts and strengths that feels effortless and creative. Whatever you most love doing, spend more time doing it!

I’m currently pondering the wise words of Joseph Campbell,

I think that what we’re really seeking is an experience of being alive,
so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonance within our innermost being and reality,
so that we can actually feel the rapture of being alive.
